Morgan, General Manager
Morgan started his life in the restaurant trade at the age of 16, working as a glass collector. After graduating from university, Morgan started working at the Beeches where he established himself as a knowledgable, indispensable member of staff and was quickly promoted to assistant manager. As a result of his hard work, dedication to exceptional standards, and ability to make everyone feel welcome, Morgan was recently promoted to General Manager.
Ed, Head Chef
Ed is our Head Chef and the driving force of The Beeches inspirational fusion menu. Starting as a pot washer, Ed’s determination has seen him develop into a creative, culinary master who is the guiding light of our kitchen. He brings with him a wealth of international experience, allowing him to create a menu that stimulates through flavour, texture, scent, and impeccable presentation. By imparting his knowledge to every member of our kitchen staff, he is developing a accomplished team of chefs.
Rizaldy, Sous Chef
Rizaldy started working in kitchens at the age of 15. From humble beginnings he has worked his way through the ranks as is currently The Beeches formidable sous chef. He has worked in three 5 star hotels, including two Shangri-Las, over a ten year period and learnt a great deal from some of Asia’s most capable head chefs. Rizaldy was integral to the opening of a central Birmingham-based Japanese restaurant before being seconded to the Burlington Hotel as sous chef before making his home in The Beeches.
